I love my little angel, I love my little angel, I love my little angel.... The joys of the two's! My daughter, my precious little angel is too smart for her own good! She is so stinkin' cute, but she has hit the terrible two's for sure! She is constantly back talking, flat out telling us lies and has taken to fake crying to get her way and making everyone feel bad for her. Not only does she do all these things that make you just want to scream and yell (which you know won't work, so you don't), but then she will look at you, and say, "I'm a princess!" How do you not smile and laugh at that because its just too darn cute? But you cannot smile and laugh because your supposed to be mad at her for not listening, or back talking, or yelling at you! You're supposed to be disciplining her (we are trying the time out thing and apologizing after timeout).
Needless to say, tonight was one of those nights, we had just gotten out of a bath, and she told me that she doesn't want panties on, and she didn't want to wear her nighty... I proceeded to put at least a t-shirt on her and what did she do?!?! She took the shirt off, throwing a fit the entire time, and threw it with conviction, as if he were slamming it on the ground like a foot ball, on the floor!
Right after this move, she proceeded to go to her room, grab one of her many princess dresses from her dress up box and have me help her put it on! Again I hear, "mommy, I'm a princes!"
She's just so adorable, I cannot be mad at her! This is the dress she put in tonight.
