A Quote for the New Year
My friend gave this to me and I tapped it to my monitor at work. I read it this morning and decided to share, enjoy!
"Faith is the bird that feels the light and sings when the dawn is still dark. We walk by faith, not by sight. Faith is to believe what we do not see: the reward of this faith is to see what we believe."
I have no idea who wrote it, but it is worth sharing anyway.
I failed to take any good pictures during our New Years celebration except for one of Brookelynn all curled up at the end of the night on our chair where we took off her jacket and boots. We set her down to get her gear off and to get her ready for bed and the next minute we looked over she was curled up in a ball sleeping. She was a trooper though all night and made it past midnight to ring in the New Year. She loved watching the fire works, but had a hard time watching Daddy light them off, all she wanted was to be with him, she didn't understand why she couldn't be held by Daddy while he was playing with explosives....it was cute!
We are looking forward to the New Year. Hopefully things this year will run smoothly and the year will bring good changes. Brookelynn is growing so fast and so far we have been blessed with good health with her, I hope to continue that path! I hope you all had a wonderful 2011 and I hope even more that your 2012 will be better and more prosperous, not in monetary value only, but those things we seem to overlook, fun, family, love, ect.
