Thanksgiving

We enjoyed two family thanksgivings this year, one with the Sherwoods and the other with the James'. Both were lots of fun and held lots of yummy food! Brookelynn is growing so fast, she cut two more teeth lady week, no wonder why she was do fussy! Tomorrow she will be sixteen months old, she talks so much, loves to giggle and play and us always the center of attention! I uploaded a bunch of photos to the shutterfly site, so go check them out. I heard some people were having a hard time downloading pictures, I think all you should have to do is sign up for a shutterfly account, you should not need to pay money, it is definitely not my intention for you to have to pay money, do if more than one of you are running into this problem please let me know and I will try something different.

I hope your thanksgiving was enjoyable!

A Taco Night Tribute to Dad

Tuesday, November 15th, marked the one year anniversary since my Dad passed away. We decided to get together as a family and make tacos and just be together. The two days before that I spent time with Mom in Girdwood, we baked cookies and pies for the Fire department and Pastor of the local church and a few other people to thank them for all they have done and continue to do for us. The community of Girdwood has proven to be such a great group of people that are continuing to support our family especially my Mom and Desi. It is not just them, but all of you as well that haven been very helpful this past year. So, thank you very much for all you have done for me and my family, I really appreciate it! I miss Dad terribly, but it is nice to know that we have people that care for us as you do!

Here are a few pictures of the taco making day, and only a few, but I did take many more. To see the rest of them, please go to the shutterfly website and browse all of the fun we had.

Nana Kari Turns 50

Chris's mom Kari turned 50 on November 4th and we celebrated by going to lunch with a few people that Saturday. Before that we watched Kale play in a Basketball game and went to the Alyeska Ski Club Ski Swap. We had a really good time with family and we took WAY too many pictures again of course. To view all the pictures make sure you visit the shutterfly account to see them all!

Enjoy!

Halloween 2011 and Some others....

I have posted a bunch more photo’s to facebook AND the Shutterfly share website. Most are unedited photos, I am waiting for the day where I have time to go through and edit some, but until then, they are pretty good without being edited. You can forward to link if you think someone may appreciate the site as well. There are A TON of photos, but oh well, the more the better! Kale & Reese were vampires for Halloween and Brookelynn was a Monkey, Brookelynn didn’t really understand that when you go to someone’s door and say “Trick or Treat” that they are simply handing you a treat for your bag not inviting you inside to play, she tried to charge into everyone’s homes and proceeded to throw a fit when we grabbed her to come back with us….it was pretty entertaining. She made it in the cold snowy night to about ten houses and then we were done, but that is pretty good for a 15 month old I think!

The password to get in is: Brookelynn

Enjoy!

Some pictures from my phone!

Winter is fast approaching, but we gave managed to avoid it so far, so we've been enjoying the last bits of fall that we can! Brookelynn is growing so fast, and is definitely a hand full, but is do much fun at the same time. I love being able to chase her around, she brings us books to read, she loves to laugh and dance and is talking more and more every day. Some or her new words include; agua, eat eat, please, kiss and many more!

Reindeer Farm and the following day!

We went to the Palmer Reindeer farm last weekend with Amber and her family and Corry and his family, mom and aunt Lori came along for the ride as well.We had a lot of fun together as a family, all the kids enjoyed every aspect of the adventure and Kale even said he wants to live on a farm! I hope you enjoy the photo's I took of the farm and the next day when Brookelynn and I were playing around our yard!

check out the following shutterfly website to view all the pictures, there are just too many to load all to the blog and for some reason it is not reading my images when I tried, so this shutterfly site may be easier!
